Animals First LA believes that your pet's health and happiness always come first. We pledge to be attentive to your animal's needs, and to treat your animal with care & love at each visit. Whether you are in need of recurring weekday walks for your pup, medication administration visits for your kitty, or overnight stays with your entire menagerie, we got you covered! We offer a variety of services that are easily customizable to fit your needs, and our experienced animal caregivers are ready to love your pets like family.
Animals First LA, LLC is fully insured and bonded, and our home base is located in the Mt. Washington, Los Angeles, CA. We are currently accepting very few new clients. Our client range extends from Mt. Washington to: Highland Park, Glassell park, Eaglerock, Silverlake, Elysian Park, Atwater, Glendale and Los Feliz.

Pet Care Options
daily dog walks
Walks or in-home visits with your pup can are typically done in your yard/neighborhood. Whether you have a puppy, a rambunctious teenager or a slower senior pup, we will adjust to their individual speed and needs during the walk

overnight stay in your home
Overnight stays in your home with your pets -- does it get much better then that? We do our best to stick to your desired routine, and always shower them with love! Very limited availability year-round.
Overnight stays include: a 12-hour stay in your home (typically from 9p-9a), am/pm feedings and walks, as well as a 30minute midday walk/visit for your pup. Rates may vary based on location and individual pet needs, so please contact us for a custom rate quote!
Rates for Overnight Services (charged per 24hour period)
1 dog = $125/night & up 2 dogs = $130/night & up
3 dogs = $135/night & up
Just cats = $75/night
CAts cats cats
Cats are just the best, and we pride ourselves on connecting with every cat client, no matter how scared or grumpy! We recommend twice a day visits if you are out of town, even for cats who free-fed but once a day can be discussed. We also offer kitty sleepover services if needed!
Strictly cat visits include: feeding, water & litter box maintenance, as well as all the play, love and affection they will tolerate! Rates may vary, so please contact us for a custom rate quote!
Rates for Services
1-5 cats: $25 for 30 minute or $40 for 60min
6-10 cats: $30 for 30min or $45 for 60min
Just cats = $75/night (includes 12 hour sleepover, plus am breakfast & care)
in-home medical visits
10-15 minute visits to your home for any medical care needs like administering SQ fluids, giving oral medications or injections, monitoring of vitals, etc. We have experience administering meds to reptiles, birds, fish, and other animals. These services are not limited to just dogs & cats.
Rates may vary depending on medication and type of pet (cat vs. dog), so please contact us for a custom rate quote!
